As an Intake Specialist at Kevin McManus Law, Franklin Olmedo is often the first voice people hear when they reach out for help. He approaches every call with patience, empathy, and genuine care—knowing that many individuals reaching out are experiencing one of the hardest moments of their lives. For Franklin, the most rewarding part of his work is being able to offer reassurance and understanding. “A lot of times, we all just need a good shoulder to cry on,” he says, and he takes pride in being that calm, supportive presence.
Franklin’s path to the legal field began through a series of customer-focused roles, from Virtual Receptionist to Customer Service Agent. It was during his time at Smith.ai that he discovered his true passion for the law. Helping callers navigate difficult situations made him realize how meaningful it felt to support people seeking guidance and justice—ultimately leading him to the intake role he holds today.
Originally from Leesburg, Virginia, Franklin completed his education through the Loudoun County Public Schools system. During his sophomore year, he was part of the debate club, which helped strengthen his communication skills and confidence—tools he now uses every day when speaking with clients.
A Devoted Father with a Love for Music and Play
Outside of work, Franklin is a proud and devoted father. He loves spending time with his 6-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son, making memories and watching them grow. He also enjoys playing the guitar and unwinding with video games, hobbies that allow him to relax and recharge.
