KML Abogados de Accidentes is proud to support Kansas City families through the 2025 Thanksgiving Soccer Camp sponsored by Kevin McManus Law. School breaks can be tricky for parents, and this camp gives kids a safe, affordable space to play and feel included.
The camp gathers kids from across the city for indoor soccer, teamwork, and fun. Thanks to Playmakers Academy, children can spend the holiday break learning new skills and making memories with friends and coaches who care about their development.
The KML Charitable Foundation helped make the camp more accessible by reducing registration costs for families. Supporting youth sports and community programs is part of who we are, and this event reflects our commitment to opening doors for kids and giving them a space to feel confident, active, and supported.
What Kansas City Area Families Can Expect at the Thanksgiving Camp
The 2025 Thanksgiving Indoor Soccer Camp will be held November 24–26, 2025, at Kansas City Future Legends, located at 9701 W 67th St, Merriam, KS 66203.
Kids ages five to 14 are invited to join, and financial support from Kevin McManus Law helped reduce the cost so more families can participate.
Registration options include:
- One–day pass: $25
- Two–day pass: $35
- Three–day pass: $45
Throughout the three days, children will stay warm indoors while practicing new skills, building confidence, and enjoying time with friends and coaches.
Our team will be there all three days to meet Spanish-speaking families and share free water bottles and drawstring backpacks. And thanks to the energy and guidance of Playmakers Academy, every child, regardless of experience, can jump in and have a great time.
Families are invited to register through the Thanksgiving Camp event website.

Reasons KML Invests in Youth Sports
The KML Charitable Foundation was created with a simple idea: every young person deserves the chance to thrive. Sports are one of the best ways to help kids build confidence, stay healthy, and learn lessons that last long after the final whistle.
The KML team sees firsthand how powerful those lessons can be. Through our Foundation, we invest in youth sports because these programs teach:
- Teamwork: Kids discover how to come together as a team, speak up when it matters, and grow into small leaders on and off the field.
- Resilience: Tough games and challenging drills build mental strength, patience, and perseverance.
- Healthy habits: Regular movement encourages strong bodies and happy minds.
- Community connection: Sports bring families, mentors, and neighbors together in ways that matter.
Programs like the Thanksgiving Indoor Soccer Camp give kids a place to try new things, push themselves, and feel supported by their peers and their community.
These experiences help young people grow into determined students, strong athletes, and compassionate community members.
A Partnership Built on Opportunity
This year’s soccer camp is hosted by Playmakers Academy, a group dedicated to strengthening youth soccer in Kansas City. Their coaches focus on individual improvement, positive reinforcement, and helping kids see their own potential.
This partnership with Playmakers blends strong coaching with pricing that families can manage. Their dedication to young athletes fits naturally with the KML Charitable Foundation’s mission to open doors for kids and give them room to grow.
When we heard about the opportunity to help more families afford the program, we knew it was the kind of project that reflects everything our Foundation stands for: community support, opportunity, and hands-on involvement.
Our Commitment Extends Beyond This Event
The Thanksgiving Indoor Soccer Camp is just one part of our growing community outreach. Through the KML Charitable Foundation, we support a variety of programs aimed at lifting others and creating pathways for success.
Our initiatives include:
Overcoming Adversity Through Sport Scholarship
The Overcoming Adversity Through Sport Scholarship is a $2,000 annual award for undergraduate student-athletes who use lessons from sports to overcome challenges and give back to their communities. Applicants share personal stories of resilience and growth, and those stories inspire our team every year.
We’ll help you appeal and secure your rightful benefits.
A Lasting Commitment to Local Families
Kansas City is home to the entire Kevin McManus Law team. Our families live here, our children grow up here, and our community has supported us for years.
Through the KML Charitable Foundation, we continue building programs that make a real difference. The Thanksgiving Indoor Soccer Camp is a joyful part of that work, helping kids stay active, build friendships, and feel supported by the people around them.
We’re grateful to Playmakers Academy, appreciative of the families who share their amazing kids with us, and thankful to the community that inspires us to keep serving.
Stay tuned for announcements about future camps, scholarships, and community programs. We look forward to creating even more chances for kids and families to shine.
