As a Bilingual Legal Assistant at Kevin McManus Law, Gabriela Perez-Garcia helps support clients throughout the personal injury process in both English and Spanish. She finds her work especially rewarding because it allows her to be there for people during some of the most vulnerable and challenging times in their lives.
For Gabriela, being part of a client’s support system is one of the most meaningful aspects of her role. She enjoys seeing clients progress through their cases and move forward from the difficult circumstances that first brought them to the firm.
Before joining Kevin McManus Law, Gabriela spent two years working as a pre-litigation paralegal at a larger personal injury law firm in Missouri. While she valued the experience and knowledge she gained there, she was ready for a change of pace and wanted the opportunity to work more personally with clients.
Gabriela was particularly drawn to a smaller firm environment where she could work with a more focused caseload and build stronger relationships with the people she helps. She believes that personal attention can make a meaningful difference in a personal injury case—not only in how a case is handled, but also in the client’s overall experience. When she discovered the opportunity at Kevin McManus Law, the firm’s client-centered approach felt like a natural fit.
Family, the Outdoors, and Finding Opportunities to Grow
A Kansas City local, Gabriela attended Sumner Academy of Arts and Science before earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Temple University in Pennsylvania. Her educational background, combined with her experience in personal injury law, has strengthened her ability to understand and support people navigating difficult situations.
Outside of the office, Gabriela appreciates having time to herself just as much as she enjoys spending time with her family. She loves being outdoors and exploring new parks, often taking walks while listening to good music. More recently, she has taken up roller skating and enjoys the challenge of learning something new.
Family is also an important part of Gabriela’s life. When she isn’t enjoying some quiet time or exploring the outdoors, she can usually be found spending time with those closest to her.
