Beatriz is a highly experienced personal injury attorney whose career has been defined by advocacy, leadership, and a commitment to serving others. As an integral member of the legal team, she brings extensive knowledge and a strategic approach to cases involving motor vehicle collisions, wrongful death, and negligence, helping clients navigate some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
Fluent in Spanish, Beatriz plays a vital role in supporting the firm’s Latino clients and their families, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and confidently guided throughout the legal process. Her ability to connect across cultures, combined with her legal expertise, allows her to provide both skilled representation and compassionate support.
Beatriz’s legal career spans decades and includes significant leadership roles. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Partner at Langdon & Emison and the Owner and Managing Partner of both Contigo Centro Legal and Ibarra Law. She also spent nearly 10 years in Washington, D.C., including 6 years serving as Counsel in the U.S. Senate, where she developed a strong foundation in policy, advocacy, and high-level legal strategy. Earlier in her career, she served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Kathleen A. Forsyth in the 16th Circuit Court in Jackson County, Missouri.

Beatriz remains deeply involved in the legal and local community. She is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City, where she previously served as President. Her commitment to service extends beyond the courtroom, with leadership roles in organizations such as Legal Aid of Western Missouri and the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, where she received the Walter Hiersteiner Outstanding Service Award, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Kansas.
