Kelvin graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2004. He is licensed in state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri as well as the District Court for the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas. Kelvin lives with his wife and three young sons in Kansas City.
